Uttaranchal University Dehradun Exam Result 2024

During the year 2013, the Uttaranchal University (UU) was formed at Dehradun that is the capital city of India’s Uttarakhand state. After receiving accreditation from the University Grants Commission and approval from the Government of Uttarakhand, the University started operations. UU is the result of a merger between 3 educational institutions: the Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), and the Law College of Dehradun. The University has the patronage of the registered society, Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research that commenced operations in the year 2000. The University is a culmination of the aspirations of a team of eminent businessmen, philanthropists, and educationists who envisioned a higher educational institution for providing quality education and vocational training to the country’s youth population.

At UU, an array of doctoral, diploma, postgraduate, and undergraduate courses are conducted in the fields of Business Management, Applied Sciences, Law, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Agriculture, Hotel Management, Journalism, and Engineering.

Amidst the picturesque setting of Doon Valley, the University’s campus stretches to over 30 acres of land. The University has world-class facilities and infrastructure, including hostels, moot court, computer centers, food court, auditorium, laboratories, sports arenas, transportation services, banks, and academic blocks.

In addition to achieving excellence in professional education and research, UU is committed to social responsibility as well. As initiatives towards the given direction, scholarships and remedial classes are provided for pupils from the lower income groups.

Moreover, to create a secure learning environment, the center has started Anti-Ragging Committee and Grievance Redressal Forum that the students can approach, if required.
